Two engineering firms have said they are creating about 200 jobs in Derby.
Train builder Alstom, which replaced Bombardier in the city, said it wants to hire 100 mechanical fitters.
And an on-site supplier, Motherson, said it needs the same number of electrical fitters to join it.
Both companies are working with recruitment agency Shorterm to fill the positions which are being offered to meet their manufacturing demands for the year ahead
For the roles at Motherson, no experience is required, and full paid training will be provided with all employment backgrounds considered.
